Anushka is an actor and producer in Bollywood. She is acclaimed for her acting as well as being among the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Anushka Sharma is the child of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya UP on 1 May 1988. Anushka was the daughter of an officer who had retired. Her mother is a homemaker. Anushka Sharma dreamed to become a model or journalist and was not a performer. Anushka, after completing her degree in Mumbai, enrolled at Elite Model Management. She was taught by stylist Prasad Bidapa. Anushka was selected for the show by Wendell Rodricks as the final model for his Les Vamps Show, which took place during Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Anushka is now, following her Lakme Fashion Week modelling debut has appeared in commercials for brands like Fiat Palio Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka started giving auditions for film alongside her modelling. Anushka sharma was the first actress to film in 2008, with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She was in the film with Shah Rukh Khan. She took one day to practice for the screen test, and refused to perform an unplanned version. She was later signed to three movies by Yash Raj Films. She played a younger wedding bride to a middle-aged actor (Shah Rukh Khan) in the film. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma starred in the film "Badmash Co that came out in the year 2010. It included Shahid Kapoor as well as the actor Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. Anushka Sharma was in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat. She played a Punjabi woman of middle class, who has her own wedding company. The movie was a huge success with a lot of praise. The contract of Anushka's for three movies under Yash Raj Films was completed with Band Baaja Baaraat.
